Allison Paugh, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Allison Paugh, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a Wayne County native with more than 18 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Wayne Community College before completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She later received her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Eastern Kentucky University.

Allison provides compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care to adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including Anxiety, Major Depressive Disorder, mood disorders, and other psychiatric conditions. She believes that every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their care. Her goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and developing a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs.

She has a special interest in women's mental health, Anxiety disorders, and helping adults navigate life's transitions with confidence and resilience. Allison values taking the time to educate her patients, helping them better understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and the factors that influence their overall mental wellness. She believes that meaningful improvement comes from a collaborative approach that combines clinical expertise with each patient's personal goals and experiences.

Outside of work, Allison enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
